Privacy Policy
WannaGo collects only what it needs to run the event-coordination features described below. None of this data is ever used for marketing, sold, or shared with third parties.
What we collect
- Your email address, obtained when you sign in with Google.
- Your name, if your Google account provides one (you can change it yourself in Account Settings).
- A mobile phone number, only if you choose to add one for SMS notifications.
- The events you create, the invites you send or receive, and your votes (Yes/No/Maybe) and private notes on those events.
How we use it
Solely to operate WannaGo: showing you your events, letting owners invite people and track responses, and (if you opt in) sending email or SMS notifications about invites and responses. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or share it with any third party.
SMS / text messages
SMS notifications are strictly opt-in. You add your own mobile number in Account Settings and confirm it by replying YES to a one-time verification text before any notifications are sent. Message frequency varies with your event activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help.
Your mobile number and your SMS consent are used only to deliver these notifications. We do not sell or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in with any third party, and no mobile information is shared for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data is not shared with any third party.
